We are an active and friendly group with a common interest in gardening. Most meetings consist of a talk on a subject of interest to gardeners and plant enthusiasts followed by refreshments, but at least 2 meetings per year are purely social events. The society also organizes the Caythorpe Show and occasional garden visits.
Where: Caythorpe Village Hall, High Street, Caythorpe, NG32 3DR.
When: On the second Tuesday of each month at 7:15 for 7:30 unless shown otherwise. Meetings finish at 9 pm approx. See Programme for details.
Fees: Annual membership runs from Feb - Jan and costs £25 per person. This covers:
- Around nine meetings with a speaker, including light refreshments
- Evening summer social and buffet in a member’s garden
- Christmas party
The summer outing is at extra cost.
The Caythorpe Show, held in Caythorpe Village Hall in August, is open to entries from anyone (except professionals in some sections). Schedules are available in local shops from early summer and a downloadable version will be linked to this page.
New members are always welcome. Just come along to one of the meetings at Caythorpe.
Contact: 01400 275052. See our Facebook page for latest information.
Visitors are welcome at our monthly talks *. Entry is £5 and includes refreshments.
