The first Caythorpe and Frieston Parish Plan, published in 2004, was originally part of a government rural initiative and outlined how the community saw itself developing over a 5 year period. It identified local problems and opportunities, set out achievable aims for the future and provided a plan for the development of the parish. Most of the aims in the 2004 plan were achieved and therefore a new plan was commissioned in 2016. This new plan now published lays out the views of the community as to how the parish should develop over the next 10 to 15 years. This is an important document as it reflects the needs of the parish, sets down the priorities for the coming years and will enable all parishioners to monitor the progress against the plan's aims and objectives.
